The check-in was easy, but the walls are paper-thin, and you can hear everything! I was kept up by loud partying next door until 3am. The wifi was practically useless, with no signs of the alleged upgrade. It's outrageous that I didn't receive any complimentary snacks or drinks-it woudl ve been the least they could do for all the noise!

by and large, it was good home base for sightseeing in ohakune, had much fun. helpful stuff, they showed us spa lounge. the room was large and well heated, especially an incredibly beautiful view of the mountain from the window. it was in a perfect location adjacent to the major tourist attractions, and cafes, restaurants, supermarket.
There was no service which we expected, so were a little disappointed.

Pleasant Stay with Fantastic Location!
The location is perfect for skiing, with a short walk to ski shops and restaurants. Staff were friendly, even allowing a late check-out. Don't miss the delicious kebabs at Phat Pad café nearby for a quick meal!

The room was large, well equipped, comfortable and absolutely spotlessly clean. The welcome was friendly and very informative about local roads walking tracks etc. The free video library had a good choice and was used to fill in the time when New Zealand's weather was less than cooperative (too be expected in mountain areas). We were automatically upgraded to a Mountain View room and when the cloud cleared the mountain view was spectacular. Easy access to the mountain and great walking trails for a summer (but still cool) visit.

Great place for families!
The kitchen was well stocked, easy to prepare meals after a long day out.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but overall it was still worth it.

The motel was very good value. The room was a good size and very nicely decorated and provided a good nights sleep as a lightweight duvet was provided. It is in a good location for the National Park and the owner was knowledgeable and helpful. We would recommend it.
